Dashboards

DRMHOPE Hospital and Medical center has developed an Analytics program that addresses a variety of clinical, administrative and financial data needs throughout the organization. Over 40 dashboards have been developed that extract and analyze data from DRMHOPE inpatient and ambulatory electronic medical record and associated financial systems. Using off-the-shelf business intelligence technology, these dashboards can be accessed throughout the organization by anyone with a web browser and the appropriate security clearance. Instead of static paper or spreadsheet-based reports, the dashboards allow the user to filter, sort and analyze the data. The information technology specilty isn't the data gatekeeper anymore- the dashboard users are empowered to come up with creative ways to examine a problem and develop equally creative solutions.
